Originally from the western Indian state of Maharashtra, I am currently based in the San Francisco, Bay Area. After earning my degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration in India I moved to the United States in the early 1990s and worked as a software developer in the early part of my career. 

Before joining Army of Volunteers for Earth, I volunteered extensively in local Bay Area schools in various capacities. I have been a Board Member for a parent-run volunteer organization at a local school, and also volunteered with a few organizations for website development, technical writing and social media presence.

At Army of Volunteers my primary focus is to lead the website, social media and newsletter teams. Additionally I am also involved in volunteer recruitment and training, outreach work and supporting sustainable projects. 

When I spoke with Dr. Ray for the first time, I was impressed by his great vision and what Army of Volunteers is doing to save our planet. It is more urgent now than ever for people across the globe to stand together and take a bold action against this biggest threat of climate change that the world is facing.

The task ahead of us is certainly challenging, but it is rewarding to know that all our efforts are helping build a sustainable, safer world for our future generations to come.
