Sabina Giri, Outreach
I am an active and passionate volunteer at Army of Volunteers for Earth, and I lead the outreach team working on contacting Industries such as power plants, cement factories, manufacturing industries and farms who are interested in reducing their greenhouse gas emissions on site. I am an Environmental/Geographical Information Analyst and have worked in the Environmental Consulting field for over 15 years.
I left Nepal and moved to the U.S. when I was 20 years old with a dream to do something big. Since then, I have constantly challenged myself to become better and help others. Currently, I live in Los Gatos, California. I have a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from University of San Francisco and Geographical Information Science (GIS) from University of Redlands. As an environmental/GIS analyst, I am committed to combating global challenges by collaborating with businesses and people to develop initiatives to transition from the existing linear business model to a more sustainable and resilient circular model.
On days off from my profession, I enjoy skiing, hiking, running, paddle boarding and traveling with my family.
