Rashmi Ramachandran, Outreach
Originally from Bangalore, India, I studied and got my graduate degree in Electronics and Computer engineering from Indiana State University. I currently live in San Jose, California and work at Apple as a Technical Partner Manager.
My career goals are to bring intelligent yet energy-efficient systems to homes in order to reduce energy consumption, carbon footprint, and overall operating costs while increasing convenience and comfort.
I joined the Army of Volunteers in April of 2022, and in my time here I have been able to bring potential partners from multiple industries in helping to increase the Army of Volunteers’ visibility with combating climate change.
I was initially drawn to this organization because I believe it makes a difference by working on projects that add a substantial impact to reducing carbon emissions and combating climate change.
Army of Volunteers is focused on the current things that matter by helping industries choose a sustainable technology that utilize CO2 for practical applications without having to emit them to atmosphere.
I believe the future of AofV is dependent on working with a village or army-like community that allows people from all different industries to partner and discuss the problems surrounding carbon emissions.
We want to be able to preserve the natural habitats and the beautiful Earth for the beautiful children of the future.
